Specialty services may include advanced diagnostics and treatments such as CT scans, MRI, endoscopy, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, advanced surgery, pacemaker placement, intensive care, and other procedures not routinely performed in a general veterinary hospital.

We also use telemedicine and remote consultation when appropriate, allowing our doctors to obtain specialist input on diagnostic images, laboratory findings, ECGs, pathology, nutritional questions, and complicated medical cases.

Referral does not mean that we stop caring for your pet. We work with specialists to help coordinate care and remain involved in your pet’s ongoing treatment whenever appropriate.

When a particular specialist or specialty hospital is best suited to your pet’s needs, we will discuss the available options with you and help arrange the referral.
