From Our Archives: Handwritten Client Testimonials
Before online reviews, our clients wrote to us by hand
Sunnycrest has been caring for pets and their families since 1969. Long before Google, Yelp, and online review sites became part of everyday life, clients shared their experiences with us on handwritten comment cards and in personal letters.
Many of these notes were written before the World Wide Web existed. We saved them because they tell an important part of the Sunnycrest story—not in advertising language, but in the clients’ own words and handwriting.
These are scans of the original notes. They have not been rewritten or recreated. The handwriting, paper, corrections, and personal messages are part of what makes them so meaningful.
A collection spanning generations
Over the years, clients have written about the kindness of our staff, the care their pets received, the time our doctors spent explaining medical problems, and the relationships their families developed with Sunnycrest.
Some of these notes mention doctors and staff members from earlier chapters of Sunnycrest’s history. We have preserved the comments as they were originally written because those people—and the relationships they formed with our clients—remain an important part of our story.
Although the way people share their experiences has changed, the qualities they value have remained remarkably consistent: thoughtful care, compassion, clear communication, and a staff that treats every pet as an individual.
